On 13th October 2016, a few volunteers from Std
VIII, IX and X visited Sishu Bhavan, an orphanage, managed by the Missionaries
of charity sisters.
The
students were welcomed by the sisters. They found that the children there, were
physically, mentally and emotionally different from themselves. But that did
not delir them from entertaining the children with songs and rhymes. They also
fed them their lunch, cleaned them and moved them around in their wheel chairs.
After
spending about two and a half hours in Sishu Bhavan, the students returned with
grateful hearts, thanking god for all that he has blessed them with a family, a
home, food and lots of love.
