JUNIOR PROJECT ON TERCENTENARY CELEBRATION

ST.COLUMBAN’S ANGLO INDIAN HR.SEC. SCHOOL

GEORGE TOWN, CHENNAI – 600 001.

In continuation of the celebrations of the Tercentenary year of Nano’s birth anniversary, the students of Std I – V had their projects on “Let love be our lantern flame” by enacting the life story of Venerable Nano Nagle” on stage, highlighting her mission, her passion for the less fortunate and her dreams come true.

Std I: The program enabled the students to know the beauty of Ireland and Nano’s daring courage at a very young age.

Std II: The program enabled the students to know how Nano sacrificed her life and gave up all her riches just to educate the poor.

Std III: The students learned the value of Nano’s obedience to God’s call and her passionate service towards education of girl children.

Std V: The students are motivated to inculcate the value of serving the poor and work for those who needed care and to make a difference in people’s life. They are encouraged to carry the flame of Nano through the missions done by the presentation sisters.

Std IV: We the Columbanites(Teachers & Students) concluded, with a promise to light up the flame of Nano by dedicating ourselves in carrying out her dreams across the globe.
