Pongal, the festival of harvest was celebrated on 10th January 2020 by std V A in a splendid manner. The programme started with a prayer service and a welcome dance. The students depicted the four days of harvest festival in the form of a skit and traditional dances. The mime show on food security and wastage of food was an eye opener as the world faces a potential crisis on food. The emotional abilities and acting skills of the students exhibited our true culture. Finally it ended with a traditional pongal song. Thus the celebration in our school was a true manifestation of our rich culture and tradition.
