Seven decades ago, on 26th January, our constitution came into effect….. “We the people” are the prime movers of the republic. The students of Std VI B rejoiced this great day – 71st Republic Day – 2020 through an assembly with the theme ENVISIONING AN EMPOWERED NATION. The students performed a classical and a colourful dance portraying India’s rich culture and heritage. Birth of the constitution was shown through a power point and street play on fundamental rights and duties enacted was the highlight of the assembly. The students through a dialogue brought out the true spirit that let’s not just be proud of India, but realize our duty as true citizens of India. The assembly concluded with the speech of Dr. Abdul Kalam on his vision 2020 developed India and with the Vandematram song. Our principal Mrs. Manjula addressed the gathering and gave the Republic Day message.
