FOOD SAFETY AWARENESS TRAINING

Eat right – Food Safety Awareness Training was organized for the staff on 27th February 2021. Mr. Praveen, deputed from FSSAI focused in giving awareness on packed food and demonstrated few experiments on how to choose Safe products. Dr. Dennis Amirtharaj, the training manager of Savera Hotel explained the various ill – effects of food adulteration


WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION

Women’s Day was celebrated on 8th March with the theme “She holds eternal strength for humanity”. The celebration included prayer dance, choreography on women empowerment, famous speeches of challenging women and a prayer song “Women of faith” sung by our correspondent and the staff. Rev. Fr. Antony Pancras addressed the gathering with the women’s day message.


HONOURING TALENTS

The centum holders of Std XI & XII for the academic year 2019 – 2020 were honored by our correspondent Rev. Sr. Jeya Rani and Fr. Antony Pancras. The Pongal competition winners of classes I to XII were also honored with certificates and prizes.


WORKER’S DAY CELEBRATION

The feast day of St. Joseph the worker was celebrated as Worker’s Day on 19th March 2021 in our school. A special assembly on the importance of work was prepared by the students in Tamil. Our correspondent thanked all the workers for their dedication and each one was given a gift as a token of appreciation.


LENTEN RETREAT

Our correspondent Rev. Sr. Jeya Rani organized a Lenten Retreat to enhance our spiritual life and to be focused on our responsibility as a teacher. The retreat on 30/03/2021 was conducted by Rev. Fr. Xavier Packiam on the theme, “To renew and recharge the spiritual skills. “especially during this pandemic. Father highlighted the importance of gratitude to God and the need for reconciliation. The celebration concluded with the celebration of the holy mass.


PREPARATION FOR THE HOLY WEEK

To prepare ourselves in a worthy manner for the holy week. Rev. Fr. Jerry shared many meaningful reflections on how to become an embodiment of truth and to face struggles with boldness. Father also quoted few inspirations from the life of St. Joseph who always accepted God’s will without any hesitation. Both the retreats organized for the staff strengthened our spirits to take up new challenges with courage holding on to the mighty hands of our ever-loving God.
